Course Description
In this course, students investigate and become familiar with building and government regulations as they relates to the profession of Interior Design. Students research, interpret and apply necessary information from the Ontario Building Code as it applies to the work of a registered interior designer in Ontario. Students also are exposed to industry specific regulations such as the AODA, the National Building Code of Canada, and project specific regulations such as Regulations for Daycare and regulations for Long Term Care Facilities. This is unit three of five.
